Nouf AlBalushi
Nouf AlBalushi is originally from the Sultanate of Oman. She relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana, to pursue higher education at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture, completing her Master’s with honors in 2016.
During her academic journey, Nouf was honored with the Alumni Award for a project that focused on bridging the cultural ties between two nations through architectural design, emphasizing their shared heritage. As part of her education, she also participated in the University’s study abroad program in Paris, where her studies involved architectural historicism.
Nouf’s professional experience spans a wide spectrum of architectural practice, from early conceptual design to construction documentation and construction administration. She has a well-rounded background in multi-family residential construction, mixed-use developments, and historic preservation, rehabilitation, and renovation. Additionally, she is skilled in conducting preliminary architectural studies for both new and existing structures, as well as site development, with a focus on contributing to the ongoing growth and improvement of the City of Lafayette.
Her expertise in creating detailed construction drawings, layout plans, and 3D renderings ensures that clients receive a comprehensive visualization of design concepts throughout the project lifecycle. Nouf also brings her knowledge and passion for architecture into the classroom, having served as an adjunct professor at UL Lafayette, teaching first- and second-year architecture studio classes.
